Location

Polis is 35 km north of Pafos. One of the ancient city Kingdoms of Cyprus. It became an important commercial centre in Classical and Hellenistic times, with close relations with Athens. Some beautiful houses, dating to the beginning of this century, can still be seen here. Polis with its excellent climate and beautiful beaches,it’s a town, which maintains its village character, with its old buildings and well-Know hospitality of the local people
is the place where you can find traditional taverns, pubs, cafes and shops.

Latsi resort is enriched with the Polis Chrysochous. Is one of the oldest fishing in Cyprus. It features a picturesque offering the catch of the day. There are a few shops, cafes, bars and disco. It is close to Aphrodite's Baths, a semi-cave pound, where according to the legend, Aphrodite the goddess of love and beauty used to come with her lovers to bath. The Akamas National Park is also within a few minutes driving distance. The area is ideal for hiking, jogging or cycling, far away from the big hotels and mass tourism, alone with nature.

Weather
Cyprus enjoys an intense Mediterranean climate, with long dry summers from mid-May to mid-October and with mild winters from December to February which separated by short autumn and spring season. Even in December and January there is an average of six hours of bright sunshine per day.
